Earlyworm is a "Read It Later" app for Chinese learners. The app has a variety of features suitable for intermediate to advanced Mandarin Chinese learners using simplified characters:

1. Save It for Later. Ran into what looks like an interesting article, but it has too many new words? Send it to Earlyworm and read it later with ease. Store up to 10 articles on your account at any time.

2. Automatic Flashcard Creation. Spend more time learning and less time making flashcards. We generate all of your flashcards automatically based on your reading level and what youre reading. Our system is designed to help you learn the words that appear most in your text, so that you can start speed-reading like a pro.

3. Automated Space Repetition Flashcard Management System. Earlyworm uses a version of the popular spaced repetition flashcard system to resurface words right before you forget them. This method is used by most major flashcard management applications and is a great way to boost your learning efficiency. The Earlyworm advantage is that we automatically determine how well you know a word based on answering speed and correctness.

4. In-Text Dictionary. The definition for any unfamiliar word is just one click away with the Earlyworm In-Text Dictionary. Just long press the word youd like to look up and a definition plus pinyin from the standardly used CC-CEDICT Chinese dictionary will appear along the top of your screen.

5. Manual Flashcard Addition. See a word you want to add to your flashcard deck? Just open the In-Text Dictionary and swipe right to add the word to your deck. We still take care of the flashcard creation and deck management, its just that easy. If you change your mind, you can swipe right from within the In-Text Dictionary and the word will be removed from your deck.

NEW in Version 1.2

• Easier Word Lookup. Now just one long press on a word will open the In-Text Dictionary. To leave the dictionary, just tap anywhere on the article. To see the dictionary in a bigger view, tap the dictionary. Simplicity rules!

• Private Articles. We fixed the bug that accidentally shared all articles with everyone. Now what you read is your little secret

• Skip the Line. In a rush to read your article? Hate flashcards? Just press the "Skip" button in the top right of the screen and skip through the flashcards. Just remember, practice makes perfect!

• Push Notifications. Get notified when your articles get posted to your account. We work hard to make this as fast as possible, but with a limited team there could be some wait. We encourage you to permit notifications so that you will know when your articles are ready. We respect and value your privacy and promise to not harass you
